PROTEST MARCH AND PRAYER RALLY JUNE 14, 2009 Gather at 8:00 AM Process from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
On Sunday, June 14, 2009, almost 700 parishioners of St. Lucy's Church solemnly processed in the rain from St. Lucy's to Sacred Heart Cathedral, where they prayed the Rosary and sang heartfelt renditions of God Bless America and Let There Be Peace On Earth, in yet another effort to reach the Archbishop, who, for the better part of three years, has repeatedly refused to interact in any way with any member of our parish.
"I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard My people cry."
"Onward Christian soldiers..."
"Fall on your knees. Oh, hear the angel voices..."
"And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us."
"And if wicked men insult and hate you all because of Me, blessed, blessed are you."
"Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come..."
"I will break their hearts of stone. Give them hearts for love alone."
IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
